White Privilege Issue Group
Chair: Debbie Sherman-Lee Chair Emeritus: David Britt
Focuses on having constructive conversations/dialogue with people of other races about white privilege. We are willing to visit different organizations/groups in Montgomery County to continue the conversation.
Story Circles: We invite members of the community to participate with members of our group to share stories about the impact of white privilege and ideas for addressing systemic racism in our community and in ourselves. If you have a group or organization that would like to participate in these conversations, please email Debbie at firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of the White Privilege Issue Group will contact you regarding scheduling time to discuss working with your group to using story circles to support dialogue about white privilege.
